My Xbox 360 is broke, again!

Last night it finally happened again, I got the three red lights on my xbox360. I noticed on tuesday I was trying to use netflix on my xbox and it kept freezing up after a few minutes of playing video. I thought maybe something was up with netflix streaming so I just turned it off. Then last night I tried turning on the xbox and all that happens is three red lights flash on my xbox.

So last night I had to go xbox's website and filled out what was wrong and filled out a repair form and now I have an xbox coffin on my way so I can send it in and get it repaired again. This happened to me a couple of years ago and it sucked. I will be xboxless for about 3-4 weeks. That really sucks for me because I just picked up Godfather 2 for the 360 and hopefully having the new lips game come my way through goozex.

While it sucks the xbox is down at least I still have the wii and ps3 to play. I just got Fallout 3 for the PS3 and I really like it. I've been playing it for a few days now. I also have Band Hero arriving at my house today for the wii. With winter approaching I'll be spending a lot more time playing games.

I will for sure spend a lot of time playing games today because I'm on vacation today. I had one vacation day left to use before the end of the month and chose to use it today. Next month our new vacation year starts and this year I've moved up to two weeks of paid vacation.

I might do another posting tonight, it all depends on how things are going. Atlanta housewives say goodbye for a while tonight and the OC wives make their return. It'll be a good night. I also got a haircut today. Check out the pics on my twitter.

Thirsty Thursday

I just got home from the bar and I'm not tired so I figured it would be the perfect time to post. I had two sex on the beaches tonight. Usually the count is 3 or 4 but the crowd at the bar tonight was very d-list so we didn't feel like sticking around. I'm also watching "weeds." I've never seen the show and its on netflix watch instant so I figured I would give it a try. I love netflix and can't wait to get it streamed on my PS3. If the rumors are true I should be getting the PS3 netflix disc next week. I can watch it now with playon but with the disc it will be much better.

I finally tried on my costume for halloween last night and I like it. I'm going as clark kent this year. All I need to do is figure out what I'm gonna do with my hair. I will play around with it on saturday. Also on saturday I'm gonna head over to firekeepers in the morning and use my last free $15 of the month. Hopefully I have good luck again on the Jewely machines.

I'm hoping tomorrow goes by fast at work. I got a house and a deck estimate I need to crank out. This morning at work was pretty stressful but by the end of the day everything smoothed out. I'm so ready for the weekend.

Last monday of October

I just got done making some of my most favorite and easy to make cookies. All you need is a box of cake mix, 2 eggs and half a cup of oil. Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for 6-10 minutes. They are really good. I usually use yellow cake mix. I get 3 dozen cookies out of one box.

Today at work wasn't to bad. I was able to get a couple of things done and have a couple more things to do. I better take in being busy right now because I figure in a couple of weeks its all going to go away and I'll be into the slow season of my job. Its crazy to think there is now less than 2 months until christmas. I need to figure out what I want and need to get others for christmas presents.

I'm so excited that Palm and Sprint finally announced the release date for the Pixi. If you haven't heard its Nov 15 for $100. Its kinda like the Pre but in the candy bar form like the centro. I have the centro now and I'm happy with it but I want the webOS software on my phone. Now I have to save up my money or win really big at the casino. November 15th is gonna get here pretty fast.

I'm trying really hard to keep up on the blogging and tweeting. If you haven't been following my twitter you better start. I'm trying to keep up with that a lot more than I have in the past. You won't find much happening on there between 8:00 am to 4:30pm because thats when I'm working and no personal cell phones allowed then. Goodbye Atlanta

Tonight is the season finale of atlanta housewives on bravo. The show is about to start in 5 minutes.

Work has been crazy the last two days and to make it even worse, today general office showed up. Usually its no big deal except today it was the head of my department I work in. It wasn't a fun day.

I'm ready for a drink tonight.

Bowl On

Hey, look at this, its a post and its not two weeks after the last one. I know I missed yesterday and almost missed today but remembered tonight I need to blog. I'm about to head to bed. I have to be up at 5am for a work meeting tomorrow morning. Totally not looking forward to being up that early but its something I have to do every Wednesday morning. It makes for a really long day.

Tonight I had my bowling league. Every Tuesday I go bowling with some of my friends. The last few weeks I've been getting better and better. Tonight looked like it was going to be a bad night but in the last game on the last two frames I pulled ahead a little. I was able to keep my streak of getting a turkey for three weeks now.

Not much else really, I'm addicted to Farmville on facebook. I'm now level 22.

Once again lets give this a try

I'm so bad about saying I'm gonna do this every day and then go three weeks without a post. I'm sorry about that. I just need to manage my time better and make myself sit down and write something everday. Some days I'll have more to say while others will be less.

This weekend like all the others has gone by pretty fast. Friday night I went out for dinner and then drinks with some friends. I didn't plan on being out all night but it ended up that way. It was lots of fun and I'm glad I went. We had dinner at Old Peninsula and then some beers at Green Top. Then we went to The Corner Bar and watched a friends band play and finally ended the night at Metro.

I thought I was going to be hurting on Saturday morning but I woke up feeling fine. The rest of the month I have $15 in credits at Firekeepers so I went there for an hour and lost $10. I thought I did pretty well. The casino wasn't very busy so I was able to finally play the Reel 'em In community slot. I was almost done when finally the community bonus triggered 3 times in a row. I ended up even with that slot but then played a little longer than finally cashed out when I was down to $20. I'll probably go back again next weekend but it'll be in the evening after I get out of work. Its my turn for the afternoon shift this saturday.

After the casino I came home and spent a few hours on facebook playing farmville. If your on facebook send me a friend request. Thats the best way to keep up with all my going ons.

Last night I had a headache so I was going to lay down and I decided I would read a book. I picked up Kathy Griffin's book a few weeks ago but never got around to reading it until last night. Finally after 5.5 hours I had to put it down and get to bed. Its a lot better than I thought it would be. I recommend it to everyone that is a Kathy Griffin fan.

Today my friend Jenn came over and we watched Land of the Lost and had some domino's pizza. I was disappointed with the Land of the Lost movie. There were some funny parts but over all the movie was a dud. Glad I rented it through netflix. I'm gonna drop it off in the mail tomorrow. I also started watching Last House on the Left but got bored with the movie. Thats also going back to netflix tomorrow. Now I'm watching Family Guy on dvd.

I'm not sure what the rest of the night will bring. Probably more tv and dvds.
