My Xbox 360 is broke, again!

Last night it finally happened again, I got the three red lights on my xbox360. I noticed on tuesday I was trying to use netflix on my xbox and it kept freezing up after a few minutes of playing video. I thought maybe something was up with netflix streaming so I just turned it off. Then last night I tried turning on the xbox and all that happens is three red lights flash on my xbox.

So last night I had to go xbox's website and filled out what was wrong and filled out a repair form and now I have an xbox coffin on my way so I can send it in and get it repaired again. This happened to me a couple of years ago and it sucked. I will be xboxless for about 3-4 weeks. That really sucks for me because I just picked up Godfather 2 for the 360 and hopefully having the new lips game come my way through goozex.

While it sucks the xbox is down at least I still have the wii and ps3 to play. I just got Fallout 3 for the PS3 and I really like it. I've been playing it for a few days now. I also have Band Hero arriving at my house today for the wii. With winter approaching I'll be spending a lot more time playing games.

I will for sure spend a lot of time playing games today because I'm on vacation today. I had one vacation day left to use before the end of the month and chose to use it today. Next month our new vacation year starts and this year I've moved up to two weeks of paid vacation.

I might do another posting tonight, it all depends on how things are going. Atlanta housewives say goodbye for a while tonight and the OC wives make their return. It'll be a good night. I also got a haircut today. Check out the pics on my twitter.

Thirsty Thursday

I just got home from the bar and I'm not tired so I figured it would be the perfect time to post. I had two sex on the beaches tonight. Usually the count is 3 or 4 but the crowd at the bar tonight was very d-list so we didn't feel like sticking around. I'm also watching "weeds." I've never seen the show and its on netflix watch instant so I figured I would give it a try. I love netflix and can't wait to get it streamed on my PS3. If the rumors are true I should be getting the PS3 netflix disc next week. I can watch it now with playon but with the disc it will be much better.

I finally tried on my costume for halloween last night and I like it. I'm going as clark kent this year. All I need to do is figure out what I'm gonna do with my hair. I will play around with it on saturday. Also on saturday I'm gonna head over to firekeepers in the morning and use my last free $15 of the month. Hopefully I have good luck again on the Jewely machines.

I'm hoping tomorrow goes by fast at work. I got a house and a deck estimate I need to crank out. This morning at work was pretty stressful but by the end of the day everything smoothed out. I'm so ready for the weekend.

Last monday of October

I just got done making some of my most favorite and easy to make cookies. All you need is a box of cake mix, 2 eggs and half a cup of oil. Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for 6-10 minutes. They are really good. I usually use yellow cake mix. I get 3 dozen cookies out of one box.

Today at work wasn't to bad. I was able to get a couple of things done and have a couple more things to do. I better take in being busy right now because I figure in a couple of weeks its all going to go away and I'll be into the slow season of my job. Its crazy to think there is now less than 2 months until christmas. I need to figure out what I want and need to get others for christmas presents.

I'm so excited that Palm and Sprint finally announced the release date for the Pixi. If you haven't heard its Nov 15 for $100. Its kinda like the Pre but in the candy bar form like the centro. I have the centro now and I'm happy with it but I want the webOS software on my phone. Now I have to save up my money or win really big at the casino. November 15th is gonna get here pretty fast.

I'm trying really hard to keep up on the blogging and tweeting. If you haven't been following my twitter you better start. I'm trying to keep up with that a lot more than I have in the past. You won't find much happening on there between 8:00 am to 4:30pm because thats when I'm working and no personal cell phones allowed then. Goodbye Atlanta

Tonight is the season finale of atlanta housewives on bravo. The show is about to start in 5 minutes.

Work has been crazy the last two days and to make it even worse, today general office showed up. Usually its no big deal except today it was the head of my department I work in. It wasn't a fun day.

I'm ready for a drink tonight.

Bowl On

Hey, look at this, its a post and its not two weeks after the last one. I know I missed yesterday and almost missed today but remembered tonight I need to blog. I'm about to head to bed. I have to be up at 5am for a work meeting tomorrow morning. Totally not looking forward to being up that early but its something I have to do every Wednesday morning. It makes for a really long day.

Tonight I had my bowling league. Every Tuesday I go bowling with some of my friends. The last few weeks I've been getting better and better. Tonight looked like it was going to be a bad night but in the last game on the last two frames I pulled ahead a little. I was able to keep my streak of getting a turkey for three weeks now.

Not much else really, I'm addicted to Farmville on facebook. I'm now level 22.

Once again lets give this a try

I'm so bad about saying I'm gonna do this every day and then go three weeks without a post. I'm sorry about that. I just need to manage my time better and make myself sit down and write something everday. Some days I'll have more to say while others will be less.

This weekend like all the others has gone by pretty fast. Friday night I went out for dinner and then drinks with some friends. I didn't plan on being out all night but it ended up that way. It was lots of fun and I'm glad I went. We had dinner at Old Peninsula and then some beers at Green Top. Then we went to The Corner Bar and watched a friends band play and finally ended the night at Metro.

I thought I was going to be hurting on Saturday morning but I woke up feeling fine. The rest of the month I have $15 in credits at Firekeepers so I went there for an hour and lost $10. I thought I did pretty well. The casino wasn't very busy so I was able to finally play the Reel 'em In community slot. I was almost done when finally the community bonus triggered 3 times in a row. I ended up even with that slot but then played a little longer than finally cashed out when I was down to $20. I'll probably go back again next weekend but it'll be in the evening after I get out of work. Its my turn for the afternoon shift this saturday.

After the casino I came home and spent a few hours on facebook playing farmville. If your on facebook send me a friend request. Thats the best way to keep up with all my going ons.

Last night I had a headache so I was going to lay down and I decided I would read a book. I picked up Kathy Griffin's book a few weeks ago but never got around to reading it until last night. Finally after 5.5 hours I had to put it down and get to bed. Its a lot better than I thought it would be. I recommend it to everyone that is a Kathy Griffin fan.

Today my friend Jenn came over and we watched Land of the Lost and had some domino's pizza. I was disappointed with the Land of the Lost movie. There were some funny parts but over all the movie was a dud. Glad I rented it through netflix. I'm gonna drop it off in the mail tomorrow. I also started watching Last House on the Left but got bored with the movie. Thats also going back to netflix tomorrow. Now I'm watching Family Guy on dvd.

I'm not sure what the rest of the night will bring. Probably more tv and dvds.

Where is the she wolf?

Oops I missed a few days. Not much happened besides work, sleep, work and more sleep. Well a few other things but nothing major.

Tomorrow night I'm going up to Grand Rapids to the Taylor Swift concert. I'm going with my room mate. I'm really excited to go. It should be a lot of fun.

Then on Saturday I get to work. No other major plans for this weekend.

Its emmy night

The primetime emmy awards are tonight and I've been watching them downstairs with my room mates and the dog. yeager is curled up with me. She always lays with me when we are downstairs watching tv. She's a great dog.

This weekend was a nice lazy weekend. Yesterday I watched my netflix dvds. I'm more than halfway thru gossip girl season 2 and just got into season 5 of the office. I'm so addicted to gossip girl right now. Today I was in bed til noon and then this afternoon did a lot of nothing.

I'm excited I'm getting guitar hero 5 through goozex. I forgot I had it listed until yesterday when I checked my email and had a message saying it was on its way to me. Now i just wish I could get beatles rock band through goozex. I also really want to get scribblenauts through goozex. I just gotta wait for my name to come to the top of the list.

Tomorrow is gonna be monday and I'm gonna have a full work week. Last week was split in half for me. I did have to work on wednesday but had to spend the whole day in ohio for a training seminar. I also found out on wednesday that I will be spending a couple of days in wisconsin in january for training. I'll get back just in time for my birthday from that.

Happy Labor Day

Its the unofficial end of summer and I don't want the 3 day weekend to come to an end. I got a pile of stuff to tackle when I get back to work. I was sick last week and missed a day and a half of work. I have a house, a couple of roofs, an addition and few other things to tackle. I'm thinking I might have to go in early a day or two to try to catch up.

Right now I'm in the kitchen fixing some lunch. I'm making hamburger helper. I've had some ground beef in the fridge I needed to use and some hamburger helper that needed to be fixed. It should be done in a couple of minutes. I also have laundry going and dishes to wash today.

My weekend was kind of quiet. I spent most of the time just laying around and recovering from my cold. I still got a stuffed up nose, but I'm feeling a lot better. Spent the last few days taking some Tylenol cold and sinus medicine. It seemed to help.

Well my Hamburger Helper is ready to eat. Everyone have a great Labor Day and I will catch ya tomorrow after work.

Just a random post

Nothing really to say, just wanted to make a post.

Today I got out of work an hour early and it was nice. Today started out nice but then got crazy. I was ready to get out of there and clear my head. I went out to Best Buy tonight and walked around. I had a $10 reward zone certficate but couldn't find anything to buy. I really want to get "Batman: Arkham Asylum" but I'm gonna wait and try to get it through goozex. Right now I need to save money and make money.

This weekend I have to work saturday morning. The rest of the weekend I'm gonna try to take it easy around the house. Gonna work on getting more stuff on ebay to sell. Also will probably head over to Firekeepers for a couple of hours and try to get some of my money back.

Well I'm gonna go get ready to watch some Housewives of Atlanta.

Top Chef in Vegas

the premiere is on right now and I'm not really feeling the show yet. I'm gonna need to watch a few more episodes so I can get some favorites. Right now everyone is blah to me.

Long day today. Went to work at 6 and got out of work at 5:15. The good thing was I finally finished one of the houses I had to estimate.

Lets Flip Out

I'm sitting down in the basement watching "flipping out" tonight. Its great to watch it again. I really should be in bed right now but of course I'm still up. Tomorrow is wednesday and I need to be to work at 6am for our department meeting. Tomorrow is also my turn to bring breakfast to work. I'm gonna stop by Meijer tomorrow on the way to work and grab some donuts.

What can I Hoard?

I just got done watching "Hoarders"on A&E and wow. I could never imagine living in conditions those people lived in. The lady with all the food was unbelievable. Her reasoning for keeping stuff was just crazy. If its not puffy, then its ok to eat. Also freezing something makes it last longer. I'm sorry but I'm gonna keep to the dates printed on the food.

I love Loni Love, I'm watching "Chelsea Lately" right now and cracking up. I love this show.

I'm taking a break from the new firekeepers casino. I've been there a few times the last couple of weeks and have gotten bored with it. I'll head back when they start sending me crap in the mail to lure me back.

Can't wait to watch "Flipping Out" tomorrow night. Its one of my favorite shows on Bravo.

Its HAWT!

Finally summer is here, the warm weather has been really hot this weekend. It started off cool and rainy yesterday morning when I went to work. I left work and the sun and heat came. I was gonna head over to the casino yesterday after work but my roomate gave me the heads up before I was out of Kazoo that it was packed so I decided to stay home.

Then this morning we went back to the casino. We drove separate because he plays poker for hours and I stick to the slots for a couple of hours. I was pretty lucky today and walked out with $50 extra today. That means I'm up $30 with Firekeepers. Its a nice casino thats only an hour away. My new favorite slot there is Kitty Glitter. I did well on it Wednesday night when I was there and did really well on it today. I put a ticket for around $10 in the machine and cashed out with $90. I was up to around $106 but I was feeling lucky, but not lucky enough. The crowd wasn't bad when I got there this morning but when I left around 2ish, it was pretty packed. I'm glad I signed up for the players reward club online. I got my card in the mail before the casino opened. Walking around the casino today I saw the line for the players club sign up and it was loooooooooong.

Tonight I posted a few things on ebay. I upgraded to the blu ray version of "a bugs life" so I'm selling the standard dvd version of the movie. I also bought some Hello Kitty vinyl figures online last week and gonna try to sell them for a few extra bucks.

Ugh I should get going to bed soon. Its going to be an uncomfortable sleeping night. Its hot and humid and sticky. I'm gonna be a sweaty mess in the morning. I'm also hungry.

Finally Open

After waiting months, Firekeepers casino is finally open. It opened this morning and I went over there tonight after work. It wasn't as busy as I thought it was going to be but there were still a lit of people. I took $60 to play with and walked out with $40 of it. I only played with $40 of it so in the end I lost $20. I was happy with that. Probably will head back over that way in a couple of weeks. The great thing about the casino iss that its on the way home to my parents.

Can't wait for tomorrow to afternoon, new Singstar songs. I'm ready to sing.

NYCrap

I've spent the last hour watching one of the most worthless shows on TV. I usually love the shows on bravo but NYC prep is just down right awful. It feels like I've been watching the show for two hours but its only been an hour. Now I'm watching Miami Social. I'm hoping its a lot better than NYC Prep. Really I should be in bed. I have to be up at 5am for work tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be my long wednesday at work. Meeting at 6am and don't get to leave until 4:30pm. Shoot me now.

I can't wait for thursday after work to get here. The Singstar Singstore updates and this week there are going to be a ton of roxette songs to download. I already have the song pack they released a month or so ago. They are releasing the song pack as individual tracks along with some new to singstar songs. I'm really excited for "joyride" and "the look." I'm gonna be singing thursday night.

Tonight I had some of the worst food ever. I went to Mangia Mangia with my roomates and it was horrible. It reminded me of a restaurant you would see on Kitchen Nightmares. First off we were there at 7 and the place was empty. Next thing was service was lacking. Then we got our food and they overloaded our plates. That would have been great if the food was edible but it really wasn't. I walked out with a take out box full of pasta I could easily eat for 3 or 4 more meals. I wouldn't be surprised if the place closes up by the end of the year. I know I won't be back.

Jon and Kate are back

Finally the new episodes are back on the air. I'm now a Team Kate fan. Jon can keep on hanging out with Michael Lohan and wear his stupid Ed Hardy clothes. Earth to Jon, Ed Hardy is not cool anymore.

I went out on the road this morning at work. I left Friday with no estimates and when I came in this morning I only had one. One of the reps had to do a delivery fix and needed someone to help so I volunteered. It was nice to get away for a few hours. When I got back this afternoon I had a couple more things to do. I ended up selling a pretty big barn over the weekend and had a few loose ends to tie up with it. Hopefully the problems I had to deal with today are the only ones.

On the way to work I stoppped by the mailbox and mailed out 5 games through goozex. I'm pretty happy with Goozex. I've gotten rid of a lot of my old games as well as flipped a couple games I picked up on clearance at Target. In return I've already gotten a couple of games and this week I should be getting the new Tiger Wood's wii game and Wii Sports Resort. I picked up a Wii Motion plus at best buy this weekend. I had a $5 Reward Zone certificate so the Wii Motion plus was only $15. I should be getting a $10 RZ certificate soon through the gamers club.

I'm so happy my TV shows are coming back. Monday nights I have Jon and Kate, Tuesdays I have Hell's Kitchen. I really don't have anything Wednesday night and then Thursday night its the Housewives of Atlanta. Then soon Flipping Out is going to be back. I'm excited for all my shows.

I'm gonna head over to facebook and play my games and then look around on ebay. I wanna start an ebay business. I gotta figure out what I can buy and sell there to make some extra bucks.

Where Did July Go?

Whoops looks like I missed the entire month of July here. It was a busy month for me. The highlight was my vacation. Went out to California and visited Universal Studios, Disneyland, Hollywood and Santa Monica. It was fun but CA is not the place for me. While I was out there I also had In and Out Burger.

Last month I also picked up a few funko pieces and traded some games on Goozex.

What does August bring? I'm not really sure. I'm gonna get back to blogging. Need to really turn this place around and bring it back to life.

A cloudy sky saturday morning

Well its almost noon and I have to work this afternoon. Its my once a month saturday work day. I'll be there 1-5. I have a feeling its going to be pretty slow, the weather is pretty dreary today. I hope it clears up later today. Supposed to be heading downtown tonight.

Yesterday I didn't get a chance to blog. I was hoping to get out of work early and hour or two but only ended up leaving about 30 minutes early. When I got home I sat down and started playing Fable. I downloaded it thursday night but by the time it finished downloading I had to get to bed. I played it or a couple of hours yesterday and I really like the game so far. I'll definitely be playing it a lot more.

When I got done doing Fable I decided to fire up the PS3 and play some singstar. I saw online that they added a roxette song pack so I had to get it. I friggin love roxette. So I did some singing and drinkinig while the songs were downloading. I had to stop to go over to our friends house or pizza and movie. We stopped at Tiffany's on the way over and I picked up some firefly sweet tea vodka. If you like tea, this shit is the bomb. All you do is mix it with ice and water and you have iced tea with vodka. The best part is you can't taste the vodka.

We stayed there for a couple of hours then came home and I crashed down on the couch and was out the rest of the night.

Well before I head to work I'm gonna fix some lunch and throw some more games up on Goozex. I finally signed up for the site Thursday night. Its a great way to get rid of old games. Instead of selling them back to gamestop and getting credit, I list the games on goozex. Each game has a point value and when I trade the game with another user I get those points in my account and then can go and use those points or a game I want. I put some of my xbox games up thursday night and within an hour I had two requests for games. I mailed them off yesterday and should have the points in my account sometime next week. If you're looking to unload some old games you definitely should sign up for the site.

My Xbox 360 Game Collection Sucks

I was in the mood to play some Xbox tonight but when I went and looked at my games to play I didn't want to play any of them. My collection is a random mix of crap games that I got for cheap or used. I think of the 12 or so games I have there are only three that I want to keep. The rest I'm thinking I might trade in for credit at gamestop or amazon.

I really want to get into an RPG/Sim/action game so I was looking around on Xbox and saw that I could download the original fable game. I checked out the description and screenshots and it looked like something I would want to play and checked out the reviews and decided to download it. I'm currently downloading it right now. I'm also thinking about picking up Fallout 3. That looks like another game that would be good. I'll see how Fable goes. I really want to get back into gaming. I've kept up with all the news about gaming but lagged in the actual playing of games. Now that I have sirius again, I can game and listen to current music.

I'm happy tomorrow is friday but I have to work on Saturday afternoon so Friday isn't as exciting as it could be. I just hope tomorrow goes by faster than today did. It rained most of today so nobody was in the store shopping. It made for a really long day.

say hey

Well another hump day is almost over. It started nice and early for me at 5am when the alarm clock went off. I got up and went to my department meeting at 6am and then came back home for an hour and slept before going back to work. The day went by pretty fast which was good for me. I was hoping to take a lunch with jenn but crap happened and that didn't happen. I was able to get to Arbys and picked up a free chicken club sandwich.

The best part of the day came when I got home from work. Waiting for me was my package from Sirius. I came to the decision last week that I wanted get satellite radio again. I had stopped using it last fall to save money. I realized lately that I have no idea whats going in music and figured getting sirius again would help me get back into music. Well I pulled my old sirius radio out and discovered it didn't work anymore. So I got online friday night and ordered a new one and today it finally arrived. Sirius had a pretty good sale going on their Mirge radio so I picked one of those up. It was regular $250 and they had it marked down to $40. Whats really cool about the radio is it picks up both Sirius and XM satellite signals.

When I got home I opened the box and then went out into my car and got everything hooked up. In the past with my satellite radios I didn't do the correct install and just kept everything on the dashboard, radio and antenna and wires. This time around I mounted the antenna to the roof of my car and ran the cable for it into my jimmy. It took me a little longer than usual to do but got everything installed and activated and now have satellite radio once again. I also picked up the online version of it too and I'm listening to that right now as I type this.

After I installed the radio I came inside and finally got around to watching Hotel for Dogs. I had rented it a few weeks ago from netflix but never got to watching it until to now. I was really surprised with the movie. I as thinking it was going to be really cheesey and stupid but it was actually pretty good. Yeah it was a little predictable but I enjoyed myself when I was watching it.

Well I better get to bed, I really could use some sleep. Goodnight.

A quick hello

I'm about to head to bed and just wanted to write a quick post. After work tonight I went out to sam's club with a friend and we wandered all over the store. Then came home and watched friday 13th part 6.

Tomorrow I have to be up at 5am because I have a meeting at 6 am. Not looking forward to the morning.

Bam! its a post

I'm sitting at home watching Jon and Kate and its their 100th episode. Emeril is on and thats why Bam is in the title. I'm also doing a laundry tonight. I got shirts and underclothes in the dryer and jeans in the wash. I should be doing some cleaning around the house but right now its tv and blogging time. After the show I have to go upstairs and clean up in the kitchen and living room. Were in the process of redoing the upstairs. Yesterday we finally found new furniture for the living room. After checking out all of the furniture stores in Kazoo we stopped into second time around furniture and found our new living room set. It was a brand new set at a second hand price. Its comfortable and looks great in the living room.

We wouldn't even had stopped into second time around if it weren't for my sam's club membership. I've been wanting to get a membership since I'm in a house now and just got a chest freezer. Since we were going to be on that side of town yesterday we decided to get the membership. We'll we pulled into the parking lot and saw Second Time Around. My membership got put on hold while we got the furniture. The store closed in 30 minutes and we got a 10% discount if we took it home today. So we paid for it and told the guy we were going to pick it up so we went down the road and rented a van then took the couch and chair home. We took the van back and then went to sam's. We walked in with 10 minutes before they closed. We got our memberships and walked around a little and then they closed. I'm gonna have to go over there sometime this week and check it out. Its been years since I've been to sam's club.

Tonight after I got home from work I decided I needed to go to Target. I really need to go through my closet and get rid of most of my clothes. I have so many shirts and probably wear maybe 5 or 6 of them. I also needed to get some body cleaning stuff so I figured I had nothing to do so I would go see what Target had. I checked out the clothing section but nothing really stuck out so I passed on getting clothes. Then I checked out the video games. They had Banjo Kazoo Nuts and Bolts on clearance for $20. I almost picked it up but decided to save my money for now. I have too many games I need to play through before I get new ones. Of course I forgot to see if they had an extra curtain rod bracket for the front window. I also forgot to pick up a country weekly. My friend Michelle is supposed to have a two page spread in the current issue. I will have to stop by the store tomorrow and see if I can find one. I noticed the past couple of days in the shower that my shampoo and face wash was getting low so I picked some of that up. I got kinda scared that they didn't have my face wash anymore but I found it. I use the Every Man Jack Face Wash. I also picked up some Axe Shampoo and Conditioner. I've been using the Axe hair products since they've been on the market and really like them. I also needed to get some shower gel but couldn't decide what to go with so I passed. I usually use Axe but feel like trying something different. I then checked out the Burt's Bee section and decided I would try out their new men's hair gel. I also saw they had some cuticle creme and I decided to give it a try. My fingernails I think always look nasty so I'm gonna try the creme and see how it turns out.

Well I've blogged enough and it looks like this episode of jon and kate is a repeat so I'm gonna go do some cleaning. I'm gonna try really hard to keep up with the blogging. I know I always say that but I really need to keep this up. I've been wanting to get back into the blogging and website stuff.

Eventually I'll get the Hang of This

One of these days I'll get in the swing of blogging everyday. This past week has been pretty busy. We started redoing the kitchen this past weekend. No more light blue and dingy white cabinets. Also going bye bye are the old appliances. Saturday we bought the dishwasher and fridge and this weekend we will probably buy the stove and have everything delivered. We had to order the fridge. Menard's didn't stock the size we needed. Saturday afternoon we painted the walls tan and cabinets white and the last few days they've gotten a second coat along with the trim getting painted white. All that is left to paint is a second coat of brown on the trim and white paint for the ceiling.

Work was pretty crazy today. I don't know why but it always seems like when its nasty out I make big sales. Today was one of those days. I had three big special orders along with a couple big stock sales. I was also able to get all caught up on my estimates I had to do. Hopefully the next two days go by fast. Wednesday is always the worst day of the week. It starts with a meeting at 6am and I don't get to leave until 4:30pm.

Well I need to get into watching Lost. I'm trying to get into the show so right now I'm renting the old seasons through Netflix. I'm hoping this time is finaly the one that gets me hooked on it. I tried a few times before but never had any luck.

Work went by pretty fast today. I got one estimate pretty much finished and a couple more I need to work on tomorrow. I hope the rest of the week goes by fast.

Really not much else to write about. I started watching "Twilight" tonight but just couldn't get into it so I turned it off and watched "Tremors 2" instead. I needed to get "twilight" watched so I could send it back to netflix. Its been sitting around the house now for a couple of weeks. Tomorrow morning its going in the mailbox back to netflix.

Good Game Deal

Today starts Best Buy's $10 game sale and I was hoping to pick up a couple of games but I was unlucky. I wanted to get the Singstar Country bundle and Silent Hill Homecoming. I needed the bundle because I need new mics but my best buy had none left. The same thing goes for silent hill. I think I'm gonna import the wireless mics. My blue wired mic doesn't work anymore so I haven't been able to play singstar. Its been sad. I did pick up Grand Theft Auto China Town wars for $15. They have the game on sale this week for $20 and I had a $5 reward zone coupon. I have to say for $15 its a great game. I've played it for a couple of hours today.

The weather has been great this weekend, with a few rain showers. Yesterday I did some work out in the yard and we put out some solor landscape lights. Today haven't really did any work out in the yard but did go down to Coloma to an antique mall. It was a clutter store. It didn't have the kind of clutter I like. I need to get back into my Funko collecting.

I'm watching the Indy car race from Kansas right now. Its so nice to watch it in HD on versus. I didn't even know we got Versus HD until last night when I was going through the channels. After the race is done I might run out to wal-mart or meijer. I need to restock the kitchen along with the chest freezer I got last weekend.

I took some pictures around the house the other night. I gotta get them posted. I might do that tonight. If I do I'll put a link on here to them.

The weekend is over

I'm ending my weekend like I do every weekend. I'm in front of the tv watching celebrity apprentice. I missed the first few weeks of the show but have been watching it the last month or so. My favorite has to be Joan Rivers. I hope she makes it all the way to the end. I've noticed in the past few weeks that its pretty predictable who stays and who goes. Trump is pretty much looking at the losing team and picks the least popular person to go home. Its pretty smart for him and the producers. You don't want to get rid of your most famous and leave boring nobodies to win.

Friday night after work the weather was perfect and I went outside and cleaned out one of the flower beds in front of the house. The bed was a mess with leaves and left over dead plants from last summer. There were also some daffodils and other plants coming back and I wanted to start from scratch. I got everything cleaned out and then planted some new bulbs. I picked up a 100 pack of mixed bulbs and planted them. I then put down some new mulch. The bed looks a lot better now and when the bulbs grow it will look really good this summer.

Saturday I woke up and was sore all over. I guess the couple of hours I spent working in the yard was harder on my body than I thought. I spent all day taking it easy and lucky me had to go to work for 4 hours. When I got home from work I laid down in bed and stayed there all night. I did get some gaming in. I picked up Kingdom Hearts 2 on clearance at Target last week so I started playing that.

Today I woke up feeling a lot better and did some cleaning around the house. The weather was dreary so we spent most of the day inside. We did venture out to Menards and picked up a chest freezer for the house. It's going to be nice to be able to buy a lot of stuff when its on sale and have a place to store it all. Its always been a problem before because I could never load up on good deals because once I got home I knew it was going to be hard to put everything away.

I'm not looking forward to Monday morning getting here but I gotta go to work so I can make some moola.

As the Blogger Rolls

Yeah so Its been a few weeks since the last post. I've been busy with work the last couple of weeks. I think right now I have 6 or 7 estimates to do. I'm hoping tomorrow I will be able to catch up on a few more of them. While its nice to have lots to do at work, it sucks because its taking me so long to get them done.

The weather is finally getting nice, I have to work Saturday afternoon but the rest of the weekend I'm hoping to be outside working in the yard. We are going to start a garden. We got some seeds last weekend to plant in the garden once the weather is right. This weekend we need to get the yard cleaned up. I need to get rid of all the old dead plants that we didnt get cleaned up in the fall. As well as the branches and leaves. I also need to get some bulbs planted in one of the flower beds.

A few weeks ago I got an email from Netflix telling me they were going to raise my monthly fee if I wanted to keep blu-ray movies. I wasn't going to pay an additional $4 a month for the access so I dropped back down to just standard dvd's. It sucks I can't rent the movies in hi-def but at least the PS3 does a really good job of up convertings dvds so I can survive. This paragraph is all over the place and doesn't make sense. I'm just rambling. I just started watching Silent Hill on dvd. I hope I don't get too scared.

Spring is here

Yay for spring and the warmish weather. Last night I started running. We would walk a couple of minutes then run a minute and then walk and run and walk then. I was set to do it again tonight but my andy wanted to take the night off and relax his legs. Tomorrow I'll be back to running.

Tonight we made dinner, were cutting back going out to eat. My goal this week is no fast food at work. Its going to be hard to go a week without a mc griddle but I think I will make it. I know my wallet will be a lot happier. I really really want to get into cooking. I can do a little but I really want to get rolling into it.

I just got done cleaning the kitchen the floor. We had friends over this weekend and it was a mess. I don't really remember much of saturday night because I had a little too much to drink. Smirnoff Melon and Apple Pucker are a very delicious and deadly combination.

Tonight I gotta head to bed early tonight because I have to be up at 5am for work because I have a meeting at 6. Its going to be a long day but I have a lot I need to get done at work.

Back in the Saddle

So long since I've updated. I think the last time I blogged I was just starting to repaint my bedroom. Well its been a few weeks and the room is finished and looking good with the furniture I got Ikea. Now I have to go through all the shit I had in there and figure what I need to keep and what I can get rid of. Gotta start getting stuff together for a garage sale.

Finally after ordering it a month ago my singstar 3 from the UK finally arrived. I ordered it from CDWow and it was on backorder. I played it last night for a couple of hours along with Disney Sing it. I think the next game I'm gonna buy is Disney Sing It High School Musical.

Today I had to work in the morning and it went by pretty quick. We were busy and I didn't get a chance to sit down at my desk. I have a lot of work to do when I get to work monday. Hopefully the rest of tonight and tomorrow goes by really slow.

Good Morning

Its another saturday morning and I'm laying in here in bed watching some TV. My second Roku Netflix box arrived yesterday and this one actually worked. I gotta sent the first one back on monday. I thought I had another one but this time the HDMI chord I bought to use with the box was bad. I'm gonna have to take the chord back to Menards and get a different one.

Last night I went out after work with some friends for a co-worker's going away party. It was a lot of fun and I had a lot more to drink than I had planned. After wayside Jenn dropped me off at home and I laid down for a little bit then went out to Metro with my roomates. The bar sucked last night. It was dead and full of blah. I only had a beer and a couple of shots there. I couldn't do any more drinking last night.

Today I have to work my Saturday afternoon shift. I hope it goes by fast. I have a few things I need to do and that should help pass the time. Then tonight I have to go to a friends bday party. That should be fun. I gotta try to keep myself good tonight because I plan on getting up around 8ish tomorrow so I can go to Ikea and finally get bedroom furniture to finish up my room.

I'm Back

Hey All, sorry for being gone for so long without a post. I had some stuff happen in my life that I had to get through. Things are a lot better now and I'm ready to get back on with this and roll on.

Right now I'm working on redoing my bedroom. I'm gonna give it a total make over. The only thing that is going to stay the same is my mattress and box springs, floor and the ceiling. Everything else I plan on changing. I bought the paint today and will work on that the next few days. Then next weekend I'm planning a trip to Ikea to get new furniture.

Gotta get back to taping up my room for paint. Things are going great.

2009 Nascar has Started

I've been sitting in front of the tv watching Nascar for over an hour now and its great. I've missed this so much and I'm really excited to get back into watching the races. Tomorrow night I'm gonna have to tivo the shootout because I'm going up to GR with some friends.

I haven't had a chance to blog the past couple of days. I'd been busy around the house and never really got a chance to sit down and blog. I'm sorry for missing it and will try to keep up better pace. I also need to keep up with Twitter. I'm gonna spend tonight looking for some more apps for my netbook and might go catch a movie with Jenn.

Wednesday night I upgraded the ram in the netbook from 1gig to 2gig. It was really easy. Just pop out the old and pop in the new.

I have to work tomorrow morning. I have a bar I need to do some estimate for. I gotta figure out drywall and steel studs. It'll be fun.

Good Game Deal Sunday

It was pretty much a lazy day around the house for me except for a couple of game runs. This morning I went out and picked up a paper at walgreens then ran into Target to get "Your in the Movies" for the 360. They had it on sale for $30 when its regular $70. I just happened to turn around in the game aisle and saw they had one wii fit left so i also picked that up. I'm gonna sell the wii fit on ebay and maybe make a few extra bucks.

Then this afternoon I ran out to best buy and picked up a year of xbox live for $30 and Alone in the Dark and The Simpsons game both for $10 both for the 360. I also had two $5 reward zone certificates so they ended up being even less than those prices.

Then tonight I was looking around on cheapassgamer.com and found a post on getting some Big Fish Games for free. 15 of them free. So all in all it was a pretty good day for deals. I watched the very end of the super bowl and now I think I'm going to play some games before I head to bed.

The first 24

Its been a little over 24 hours since my netbook was turned on for the first time. I've spent time working on it and adding and removing programs. The hardest thing to get used to is the small keyboard. I'm slowly getting used to it. Actually I'm making this post from it.

Today I went home to my parents for a birthday lunch. My dad was out of town on my birthday so we celebrated today with home made sloppy joes. I had the choice of going out to eat or having a home cooked meal and I went with the meal. For dessert was homemade banana cake, my favorite.

On the way back to Kalamazoo I stopped in Battle Creek at TJ Maxx and Best Buy. I stopped into TJ Maxx becuase I saw some boyds bears at the one in kalamazoo last weekend and was going to see if BC had some for my mom. They didnt have the bears but I did find some underwear and a bag for my netbook. Its designed for a portable dvd play but will work just fine for the netbook. The best part was it was only $5. I'll post some pics of it. I then ran into Best Buy. That store is way too small for the amount of stuff they have stocked. I did a qucik walk through and decided to just go to the one in Kalamazoo. I left Battle Creek and was happy to do so. The people there do not know how to drive.

In kalamazoo I stopped at TJ Maxx and they still had the boyds bears so I loaded up a cart and picked up one of each for my mom. You really couldn't beat the price. Most were $4 and the most expensive was $8. I then ran into Tuesday Morning and Barnes and Noble. I finally stopped at Best Buy in kzoo and looked around and then came home. I then laid back on the couch and watched the latest episode of Hell's Kitchen on the Eee and now I'm writing this. I think tonight I'm gonna go out. Its been a few weeks since I've been to the bar....on a weekend night.

What a Long Lunch I Had

Yesterday I had to be to work early for the breakfast. It went off great and I was busy all morning with that and working on a finished basement estimate. After I finished that up I went out to lunch with my friends and it turned out to be a long lunch. We go the Craftsman Club around 2 and didn't leave until almost 10. I didn't plan on being there that long but it was a lot of fun and a great time.

Also Yesterday my tax returned was deposited into my account.

Today was really slow at work so I got sent home early. Tonight I'm gonna be catching up on surveys and watching some tv. Hell's Kitchen returns tonight and I can't wait to watch.

I'm hungry, I need to find something to eat.

My daily email from All Access had the books for Kazoo in it today. Looks like for the most part people stopped listening to the radio except for WKZO. They increased listeners and I'm one of them. I listen to WKZO in the morning while I'm taking my shower and getting around in the bathroom. The rest of the time I'm listening to my ipod or zune instead of the radio. The only other radio station I sometimes listen to is WYZO and they didn't crack the top 5. Sucks to see WBCT in the top 5 since they are actually out of Grand Rapids. YZO is much better than them.

Monday Monday

Today has been the first time in a while where I've actually been busy at work. From the time I got to work until the time I left I was busy and estimates to do and when I left I have more to do tomorrow. Its a good feeling to be busy at work.

After work I stopped by wal-mart and picked up some needed groceries for lunch and dinner's for this week. I really need to get my budget figured out. I really want to get my finances in line this year and I really need to start keeping a budget so everything falls into place. I want to do it, now I just need to force myself into sitting down and working on it.

I also have been doing laundry tonight, I have two loads going right now and have one more load that might have to wait until tomorrow night. Its nice having clean clothes.

Also tonight I need to watch Get Smart. I rented it from Netflix and really need to watch it and get it sent back so I can get more dvd's sent my way.

On the netbook front I'm still trying to decided what one to get. I've settled on an Asus I now need to figure out if I want a 900ha or a 904ha. I think I'll go with the 900ha since its small and size is the main reason for getting one. I don't really care about the 6cell battery because more than likely I'll always be near a plug and the webcam resolution isn't a big deal. All I need to do now is wait for my tax return to get back. It should be here by the end of the week.

Ok this post has been all over so I think its time to finish it up and go watch some Get Smart. I finished all my surveys for today so I won't need to have the laptop in front of me.

Podcast Catch Up Sunday

It looks like I'm gonna spend the rest of my day at home catching up on all the podcasts I listen to and playing some xbox360. Right now I'm listening to the Nintendo Voice Podcast from IGN and I have the other gaming podcasts to listen to from IGN along with Rebel fm episode 3 and the latest cagcast. My zune is going to get a lot of one on one time with me. I'll be online so if you see me on say Hi!

Yay for Fridays

I love Fridays, its both payday and the start of the weekend. I have the next two days off of work. Tonight I'm gonna have some drinks and have some friends come over. This weekend I'm not quite sure yet. Peace.

The closing of Circuit City and Lexmark

I just received an email from Lexmark letting me know that I will be able to buy my circuit city exclusive inks at other stores in the future. I'm so happy. When I purchsed my laptop back in dec 06 I picked it up at Circuit City because I could get nobody to help me at Best Buy. Well CC was running a promo where you got a free multi function printer with any laptop purchase. Of course that free printer was a crappy lexmark but I took it because I was using an old HP printer I got from Circuit City back in 1999 with my first computer. The lexmark works alright for me except the past few months it was printing shitty because I needed a new cartridge but what sucked was you could only get the lexmark 2 cartridges at Circuit City or lexmark's website. Finally a month ago I went and purchased a new cartridge. Fast forward to tonight when I get an email telling me I will be able to pick up the 2, 3, 4, and 5 cartridges at Staples and Office Max in the future. That is good news for me now but hopefully I won't be using this printer for much longer. I would really like to get a new one that has wireless. Then I could print from any room in the house and that would be nice.

Today was a pretty blah day. Work was pretty busy for a change this morning but then slowed down in the afternoon. Tomorrow I have to do more cutting then do some calling around for prices. Tonight I was bad and laid down to watch some tv and of course fell asleep for an hour or so. I woke up from my mini nap and have been totally out of it for the rest of the night. Right now I'm catching up on the surveys that were sent to me today.

I should get to bed early tonight. Have to be into work an hour early tomorrow for a meeting. I'm ready for the weekend to get here.

A Night of Drooling

I've spent tonight looking around online at netbooks. I want one so bad but don't know what one to get. I thought I wanted an Acer but then I started looking at the Asus and then there's the MSI. I'm leaning between the acer and the asus. Pretty much I'm just looking for a good deal and the right color. Asus has a green netbook and I would really like to have that one. I love green.

Yeager is downstairs with me and she is snoring. I should get to bed soon but I'm not that tired.

I just got a notice from TaxACT, it looks like the feds have accepted my efile and I should have my return around the 30th. I can't wait to get that money into my bank account. I'm thinking about taking some of the money and opening up an online savings account. The HSBC direct looks pretty interesting. I checked that out a little bit tonight before doing my surveys and then checking out netbooks.

Taxes are Filed

I was hoping to file my taxes on Friday night but I went out with some friends after work and when I arrived at home the internet was down. Then on Saturday I worked in the afternoon and then went down to Burdick's for my birthday dinner. Then last night I watched "21" on blu-ray. That then left this morning for me to file my taxes. Thanks to taxactonline.com it only took a few minutes and I was done and now just waiting for Uncle Sam to deposit his money into my bank account. I'm gonna use the return to pay off some credit cards. I'm really tempted to pick up an acer apsire one netbook but I really don't need one right now. I think it would be nice to have a little netbook that I could just sit on my lap and watch tv and take my surveys and keep up with the blog. We'll see how things go with my tax return, profit sharing and then management bonus.

Tonight I'm catching up on some more "One Tree Hill." I'm hoping to have season 1 wrapped up very soon so I can start on season 2. Then I can work on seasons 3, 4 and 5.

Happy Birthday

Today I turn the big 28. For me birthdays are just another day and today its been like that. I had to work this afternoon. I worked the big 4 hour saturday afternoon shift. I was going to try to leave early but instead I stayed for the whole 4 hours. I figured I mine as well make some money.

Tonight I'm gonna have dinner downtown at Burdicks and then I want to come home and snuggle up with a blanket and watch some dvd's.

Happy Hump Day

Today went by pretty fast at work, I stayed busy working on a few things and had a quote come in right before I left. I cranked it out and sent up the stuff I had to before I left so I should be able to finish it up in the morning when I get to work.

I'm pretty suprised that while its been really slow all week I have not yet gone home early. I'm thinking/hoping that Saturday I'll be able to get out early. It will be my Birthday and I do need to celebrate it.

I packed up my spacebags tonight and sucked the air out of them and they worked pretty well. With getting rid of a lot of stuff and using the space bags I was able to free up some room. Pretty much everything I had in the closet and under my bed now all fits under my bed.

Before I packed up the spacebags I watched a couple episodes of "One Tree Hill." I'm going through my OTH collection and started fresh with season 1 and tonight I finished up disc 4 and have 2 left to watch. Then I'll move onto season 2.

I've also been keeping up to date with the video game podcasts. My new favorite podcast is the Rebel FM podcast that is former EGM/1up people. It sucks what happened to them all but its a great listen to check out.

Well I'm about to go play some video games. I'm either gonna play some GTAIV on the PS3 or Sally's Salon on the DS. Sally has been getting all my attention lately. Its a cheesy time management diner dash type game but i'm really addicted to it. Right now I'm trying my hardest to get 15 people through my shop and all my chairs upgraded.

Will the Space Bags Work?

I picked up a couple sets of Space Bags yesterday at work. I have a bunch of shirts I want to pack up and figured the bags would be the best way to store them without taking up all the space. I had planned on folding all the clothes and then pack them up in the bags but I didn't get that far. I have everything folded but then it got to be 10pm and I wanted to catch "The Real Housewives of Orange County." Tomorrow night I'm gonna suck the air out of the bags and see how well they work.

We got a few more inches of snow today so tonight when I got home from work I shoveled the driveway. It wore me out. The worst part of the driveway was the end where all the snow from the road is thrown into the driveway by the snowplow. That snow was heavy and a pain. It took mu just under an hour to shovel it all.

Tomorrow I have to go into work an hour early for our department meeting and then tomorrow night I have to do more cleaning at home.

Sweet Deal at Target

I had to run to Wal-Mart and Target today after work to pick up a few things. At Wal-Mart I snagged my free Monday rental from redbox. When I get finished up writing this I'm gonna watch "Pineapple Express" and work on the blog. I also had to pick up a couple 100 calorie oreo snacks for a friend. I was hoping that Wal-Mart would have Target price matched on Mtn Dew this week but they didn't so I had to stop by Target. The last few weeks Targets had the collector's edition of GTAIV on clearance for $60 and then $40. The price was too high for me to pick it up then. When I got to Target I decided to make the usual loop and checked out the clearance rack in clothing and nothing then I swung through electronics and they still had the CE GTAIV's but this time the were marked down to $22 so I picked up a copy. $20 for a $90 game is a pretty good deal. The edition is packaged in a black metal lock box and inside is the game, a soundtrack, art book, duffel bag and keychain. I then made my way to the food section and picked up $3 24oz six packs. At the check out I realized I had the stereo-typical gamer haul of dew and a game. All I needed to round out the picture were some Dorito's and Pizza Rolls or Hot Pockets.

Sounds like we have a nice winter storm heading towards us. They say on TV were going to get 4-6" dumped on us in the next 24 hours and the winds are going to blow and temps are going to drop. Joy....I'm so sick of winter weather. I know I'll be shoveling the driveway when I get home from work tomorrow.

A Quick Post

This weekend went by really fast as usual. We got dumped on with snow. I think my car had a good 10" on it today when I cleaned it off. I figured I would brush all the snow off today so I wouldn't have to do it tomorrow morning before work.

I'm gonna stay up a little bit tonight and watch "Jesus Camp" on Netflix on XBox360 and do some work here on the blog. I'm gonna try to figure out all the workings so I can get this customized to how I want it.

Yay for new Disney Blu-Ray in 2009

Disney has announced some releases for 2009 on Blu-Ray and its pretty sweet. TVshowsonDVD.com has the whole press release. I would say the best parts are Disney is going to be releasing some of the DVD's in a combo package like they did with "Sleeping Beauty" with a standard DVD and Blu-Ray in one box. The movies I'll be picking up on Blu are High School Musical and HSM:3(Feb 17), and "A Bug's Life" and "Monster's Inc." and "Pinocchio" and "Snow White."

The snow has made its ugly return to the area. It started last night when I went to bed I noticed a light layer of snow outside then this morning when I went to work I had a couple of inches on my car to clean off. It snowed off and on all day but nothing too bad but were supposed to get more snow over night and tomorrow. I think somewhere in the range of 3-6 inches. I hope its not too bad because nasty winter weather leads to very slow days at work. Luckily it was kinda nice today and I was able to get some really nice sales. Its been a while since I had days like today.

I think tomorrow night I'm gonna take down my Christmas tree. I've been needing to take it down but just haven't been able to get in the mood. Hopefully tomorrow night will get me in the mood.

The other night I decided to forward my old domain to the blog. Rossatron.com now links to here. Its been so long since I've used the name but I kept it registered to me for future use and I guess now is the time to get it back in use. I now need to get back into html coding so I can really get this place looking like me.

I Finally Cashed in my Tickets

I've gathered a small collection of scratch off lotto tickets in my room and finally today got around to cashing them in. Most of them were only worth a couple of dollars but I had one worth $10. I stopped by Meijer after work to return my redbox movie and then cashed in the tickets for $23.

Work started out busy this morning for me but then I finished up all the work I had to do so then I spent the rest of the day trying to keep busy. I hope I get something to do tomorrow or its going to be a long day. I have to be in an hour early for a department meeting.

Last night I rented "The Happening" from redbox and I have to say I was pretty dissapointed with the movie. I was hoping it was going to be a lot better but I thought it was pretty stupid. Luckily for me it was my free monday rental from redbox.

I have to get to bed early tonight. The last couple of nights I've gone to bed and then laid in bed and played "Build a Lot" on my DS until 1ish. Tonight I'll have to go to bed and get sleep.

Oops I Missed a Day

I was doing well for a couple of days with blogging everyday but I didn't get around to it yesterday. I did make it back out to Sonic yesterday and got the popcorn chicken meal. We also got the HD cable box hooked up yesterday and now have more HD channels to watch. My favorites are HGTV and Food and I can't wait to watch TLC tomorrow night and see "Little People Big World" and "John and Kate plus 8."

Today we got all the different components up and running and all the chords situated. Now we just need to get the sub-woofer replaced.

This week at work is going to get some getting used to. I'm going to have to work all 5 days. Hopefully I will have some estimates to do when I get in this week. I didn't have any on Friday so I ended up helping Jenn back in Pet and Grocery downstock and take care of the milk.

The rest of today I'm going to spend some time working here on the laptop. I need to play around with my zune some more and also photoshop. Then later on today/tonight I think were going to watch a blu-ray movie.

Falling in Love with my Zune

My parents gave me a 4 gig black zune for Christmas that I call Black Betty. For the last week or so I have slowly been figuring out and playing with Betty. Well last night I signed up for Zune Pass and thats when the full on love for Black Betty really took off. I love being able to look up different songs and albums and finding them and just pushing play and being able to listen to them. I need to play with Betty a lot more to figure more out about her but I know right now my Ipod is going to get pretty lonely. The Ipod is so boring compared to the Zune.

Tomorrow morning Charter is coming to get our HD cable box up and running. Can't wait to sit back downstairs in the basement and watch TV in HD.

Hello 2009

Its the first day of the new year and it was nice having it off. I slept in this morning. Then headed back to my parents for the afternoon. My jimmy has been running fine now so I didn't have it worked on. Came back to Kalamazoo and now I'm laying down in the basement watching some "Holmes on Homes." I need to get this disc watched so I can get it sent back to Netflix. I think I've had this dvd for more than 2 weeks. Tonight will probably be spent in front of the new TV. We got a 52" LCD tv on Sunday and we have the PS3 hooked up to it. It looks really nice and on Saturday charter is coming to replace our old cable box with and HD and set up HD channels for us. Once you've seen HD its hard to watch regular tv.
